Rosalia

Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish singer of flamenco. Since she was a teen she was involved both in traditional and popular music. Her musical interests have expanded to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in the year 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she won the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. She collaborated with many musicians and producers like Cory Henry. This set was released the month of March 2022, following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first female to win both of these awards.
