Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is famous for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. The actress began her career as a performer in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by the film Tezaab starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared alongside her. Born into the Mumbai middle-class family, and began dancing in her early years. When she was young, she started acting but struggled as many of her movies were unsuccessful. The actress gained fame and was one of India's leading movie actresses. After her wedding, she took a career break before reentering the film industry. In the past, she was an integral part in the movie Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women across India. Dixit won 8 Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Her name is well-known for her charitable work as well.
